HANNIBAL – The following is a list of general highway maintenance work the Missouri Department of Transportation has planned in the Northeast Missouri region for the next few weeks.
All road closures and planned roadwork may be viewed on the Traveler Information Map at http://traveler.modot.org/map/.
Inclement weather may cause schedule changes in some of the planned work. There may also be moving operations throughout the region, in addition to the work mentioned below. MoDOT asks drivers to work with us by buckling up, putting your phone down, slowing down and moving over in work zones.
Adair County
Route Y – July 7 – 8, CLOSED for patching operations from Missouri Route 11 to Route BB between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.
Route BB – July 9 – 10, CLOSED for patching operations from Route F to Missouri Route 149 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.
Route HH – July 14 – 17, CLOSED for patching operations from Missouri Route 3 to Gifford Trail between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.
Clark County
Missouri Route 81 – July 7, CLOSED for shoulder work from Medill Road to Sheriden Street in Kahoka between 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Knox County
Missouri Route 15 – July 7 - 10, LANE RESTRICTION for bridge maintenance from 0.50 mile before and after the South Fork South Fabius River between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. A 10-foot width restriction will be in place where crews are actively working.
Lewis County
Route E – July 8, CLOSED for culvert replacement operations from 170th Avenue to 100th Street between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Route Z – July 7, CLOSED for culvert replacement operations from Route C to Napa Street between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Lincoln County
Missouri Route 79 – July 7 - 9, LANE RESTRICTION for patching operations from Route JJ to Route N between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.
Route M – July 14 - 17, CLOSED for asphalt pavement repairs from Missouri Route 79 to Sterling Harbor Road near Elsberry between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.
Marion County
U.S. Route 24 North Outer Road East – July 8, CLOSED for patching operations from U.S. Route 24 to end of state maintenance between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
U.S. Route 24 South Outer Road East – July 8, CLOSED for patching operations from U.S. Route 61/24 to end of state maintenance between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
U.S. Route 61 Outer Road East – July 7, CLOSED for patching operations from East Ross Street to CR 328 in Palmyra between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Business Route 61 North – July 9, CLOSED for patching operations from Missouri Route 168 to U.S. Route 61/24 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Route B – July 7, CLOSED for patching operations from Route JJ to CR 413 between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Route J – July 10, CLOSED for patching operations from Route J Spur to Route D between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

U.S. Route 24 – July 7, LANE RESTRICTION for grading ditches/drainage work from 0.50 mile east of Spur 15 to Route U between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
U.S. Route 24 – July 8, LANE RESTRICTION for grinding high joints work from Route A to CR 179 between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Route N – July 15, CLOSED for culvert replacement operations from U.S. Route 24 to CR 588 between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Route N – July 16, CLOSED for culvert replacement operations from CR 591 to CR 584 between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Route N – July 17, CLOSED for culvert replacement operations from CR 584 to CR 595 between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Route HH – July 14, CLOSED for culvert replacement operations from CR 562 to CR 518 between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Route N – July 7 - 8, CLOSED for patching operations from Route J to Route N overpass near Mineola between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. daily.
Schuyler County
Route J – July 7, CLOSED for grading ditches/drainage work from U.S Route 63 and Slaughter Road near Green Top between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
