MoDOT TRAFFIC ALERT: Lane Closures on Missouri Route 14 (Jackson Street) Bridge over U.S. Route 65

In Ozark July 21-August 18 for Bridge Work

What/When:

  • Westbound Missouri Route 14 (Jackson Street) bridge right lane Closed over U.S. Route 65 in Ozark
    • July 21-August 18
  • Eastbound Missouri Route 14 (Jackson Street) bridge nighttime lane Closures over U.S. Route 65 in Ozark
    • 8 p.m. – 6 a.m. July 21-August 18

Details: Contractor crews to replace the bridge expansions, resurface the bridge deck, and replace the westbound outside bridge wall. A temporary barrier wall will be installed in the westbound lanes as crews work on the Route 14 westbound outside bridge wall.

During nighttime hours, crews will remove the westbound Route 14 outside bridge wall. When the wall is being removed, Route 65 will be Closed in both directions at the Route 14 bridge. Route 65 traffic will be diverted up and over the on-off ramps at Route 14 and back onto Route 65. This work has not yet been scheduled. A news release will be sent out prior to the work to alert the traveling public.

  • Westbound Missouri Route 14 (Jackson Street) bridge right lane Closed over U.S. Route 65 in Ozark
  • Westbound Route 14 bridge left lane and left turn lane are Open
  • Eastbound Missouri Route 14 (Jackson Street) bridge lane Closures over U.S. Route 65 in Ozark at night
  • Missouri Route 14 (Jackson Street) is Open
  • Crews and equipment close to traffic in areas
  • Drivers are urged to find alternate routes. No signed detours are planned.
  • Electronic message boards located near the planned road work will alert drivers to any changes in the work schedule
  • Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closures/traffic impacts

Weather and/or construction delays will alter the work schedule.
