ST. LOUIS— Residents who use eastbound Reavis Barracks, especially to enter I-55, should allow some extra time starting next week, as crews will close one lane around the clock at the interchange for two weeks.
Weather permitting, crews will close the right lane on eastbound Reavis Barracks under the interstate, starting Monday, July 14 at 7 a.m. so crews can update drainage between the ramp to southbound I-55 and the ramp to northbound I-55.
The lane is expected to remain closed for two weeks. Although drivers will be able to enter and leave the interstate in all directions, traffic may back up, especially when traveling toward Union Road.
