ST. LOUIS – Residents who use Route D (Dr. Martin Luther King Drive/Page Boulevard) in the city of St. Louis are invited to attend an upcoming open house style public meeting to learn about plans for a 2026 project along the corridor.
This meeting will allow the public to share insights, discuss concerns and provide comments, either directly to the engineers or through a survey.
The meeting is Thursday, July 24 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Better Family Life, 5415 Page Boulevard, St. Louis, MO, 63112.
The Missouri Department of Transportation will hold the open house-style public meeting to share plans for a project starting in 2026 that resurfaces the roadway between Tucker Boulevard and Skinker Parkway/Kienlen Avenue and addresses some safety concerns along the corridor. These concerns were gathered and discussed during two previous public meetings about this section of Route D.
During the meeting, MoDOT engineers will share their plans for the corridor and will gather feedback to help complete the design and construction of the project in 2026.
There will be no formal presentation. Participants may attend the meeting at any time between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.
People who require a reasonable accommodation to fully participate in this event can contact Andrew Gates before Friday, July 18 at Andrew.Gates@modot.mo.gov or call or text 314-223-8003.
For those who are unable to attend the meeting in person, the information shared during the meeting as well as a survey form will be available at https://www.modot.org/projects/route-d-safety-improvements-st-louis-city before the meeting. People are welcome to view the information and provide comments about the project until Thursday, August 7.
