JACKSON COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will be conducting lighting improvement installation on southbound I-470 at Lakewood and Bowlin Road beginning on Tuesday, July 22 until Wednesday, July 23 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. All work is weather permitting.
See below for traffic modifications:
- Crews will CLOSE the exit from SB I-470 to Lakewood/Bowlin.
- Crews will conduct various lane closures on SB I-470 at Lakewood and Bowlin Road.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
