Commission Awards Contracts for Projects in Northeast District

HANNIBAL – During its regular meeting on July 9, the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded the following contracts for sidewalk (ADA) improvements and seal coat projects in the Northeast District. 

  • A $982,521 contract was awarded to Stanton Contracting, LLC for a sidewalk (ADA) improvement project in Macon County at the following locations:
    • Missouri Route 149 at North Commercial Street and Walnut Street in Ethel
    • Missouri Route 156 from South Hastings Street to just east of Tremont Street in La Plata
    • Missouri Route 156 from 550 feet west of South Macon Street to South Main Street in South Gifford
    • Route C from Route T north junction to Route T south junction in College Mound
    • Route J from East Missouri Avenue to South Elm Street in Elmer
  • A $652,789 contract was awarded to W. L. Miller Company for seal coat projects in Adair, Macon, Putnam, and Randolph counties at the following locations:
    • Missouri Route 149 from Route AA in Putnam County to Missouri Route 6 near Novinger in Adair County
    • Route Y from U.S. Route 63 near Excello in Macon County to Route J in Randolph County
  • A $1.5M contract was awarded to W. L. Miller Company for seal coat projects in Clark, Lewis and Scotland counties at the following locations:
    • Route A from U.S. Route 136 near Luray in Clark County to Missouri Route 16 in Monticello in Lewis County
    • Route B from the Iowa State line to U.S. Route 136 in Scotland County
    • Route H from Missouri Route 81 near Kahoka to U.S. Route 61 near Winchester in Clark County
