ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – The Missouri Department of Transportation has contracted Louis-Company, LLC, to complete a bridge deck replacement project on three bridges in Grundy and Linn counties. The Linn County Route U bridge over Long Branch, northwest of Bucklin, is scheduled to close beginning Monday, Feb. 23.
Traffic Impacts: The Route U bridge will be closed beginning Feb. 23 through April. Motorists will need to seek an alternate route around the closure.
Listed below are two other bridges included in this project with estimated start dates:
- Linn County Route B over Parsons Creek, west of Linneus, scheduled to begin April 27.
- Grundy County Route E over the Medicine Creek Drainage Ditch, east of Laredo, scheduled to begin July 15.
