Warrenton to Wentzville:

MoDOT’s Improve I-70 Program team has scheduled an industry meeting for the second project within the program. This project will expand Interstate 70 from approximately Warrenton to Wentzville.

The MoDOT Improve I-70 – East Team Project Director, Kim Trainor provided an update about the project. Kim shared details about the solicitation for the owner engineer role, project budget, project schedule, RFQ/SOQ process, and other project information. This project is not expected to issue the RFQ until Spring 2024, however we wanted to share some of the details we did have about this prior to the holidays.

Columbia to Kingdom City:

MoDOT’s Improve I-70 Program team has scheduled an industry meeting for the first project. This project will expand Interstate 70 from approximately Kingdom City to Columbia.

Time: 10:00am to 11:30am.

Location: Columbia, Missouri at the Riechmann Indoor Pavilion (2300 East Walnut Street, Columbia, MO 65201)

At the industry meeting, a brief program update was provided. MoDOT’s Improve I-70 – Central Project Director, Jeff Gander, introduced the initial project. The Central Project Director shared details about the schedule, RFQ/SOQ process, stipend, submittal requirements, ITP scoring breakdown, DBE goals, workforce goals, and project configuration requirements.
